Tetlin Culture Camp 2018

The camp was held at Last Tetlin, approximately an hour boat ride out of the village of Tetlin, at the base of the Alaska Range. Venetie Culture Camp 2018

The camp was held at Van choovee’ (Big Lake) located two miles outside the village of Venetie. The cultural focus was on subsistence and the importance of ducks and geese to that area, with kids learning about hunting, cleaning, preparing, and cooking.
