Gateway to Recovery

Gateway to Recovery

Gateway to Recovery is a medical inpatient withdrawal management program open to all Alaska residents. Patients will receive support from 24-hour medical supervision and assistance in their next steps of recovery. We help safely and comfortably withdraw from alcohol, opioids, and stimulants such as methamphetamines. GTR will also help people needing medical supervision starting on buprenorphine (Suboxone) in a safe and supportive environment.

Gateway to Recovery (GTR) professional staff help identify patients’ needs and connect them to treatment providers and programs. GTR can help with meeting treatment program requirements by performing behavioral health assessments, medical clearance, referrals, and completing applications.
