WHEREAS, The elders in Chalkyitsik need a building of their own, with a kitchen and a meeting space; and WHEREAS, The Chalkyitsik Village Council has received and considered citizens’ comments on the proposed Elder Facility, which is essential to the health and safety of village residents.
