Whitney Paolino has stepped into the role of Wellness & Prevention Director at Tanana Chiefs Conference (TCC), bringing more than a decade of experience serving TCC and its communities.
A lifelong Alaskan, Whitney grew up in North Pole and comes from a family with roots throughout Alaska. Her mother’s family is from Nome and Ruby, with ties to Tanana. These connections have given Whitney a deep appreciation for the people, communities, and culture that make Alaska home.
Whitney began her career with TCC in 2014 as a Medical Assistant Intern. Since then, she has served in multiple roles across the organization, gaining experience in different areas of healthcare and learning from the people and communities TCC serves.
In her new role, Whitney hopes to strengthen proactive approaches to health and well-being throughout the TCC region. Her vision includes promoting health education, healthy Indigenous lifestyles, early prevention, and culturally grounded wellness practices.
Outside of work, Whitney is a wife and proud mother of two, Landon and McKenna. She is also a dedicated hockey fan, enjoys traveling, and is a dog lover who has three dogs of her own.
TCC welcomes Whitney to her new role and looks forward to the work ahead to support wellness and prevention across our communities.
