Beginning November 1, Alaska Legal Services Corporation’s Equal Justice Works Medical-Legal Partnership Attorney, Hannah Grage, will be on-site at the Chief Andrew Isaac Health Center to provide legal assistance to TCC beneficiaries who are referred by their healthcare providers.
The new Medical-Legal Partnership brings healthcare and legal services together to help address challenges that can impact the health and well-being of TCC beneficiaries. Areas of assistance may include Medicaid issues, wills, powers of attorney, advance healthcare directives, and other qualifying legal needs. By connecting beneficiaries with legal resources through their healthcare providers, the partnership helps address barriers that may otherwise affect access to care, services, and resources.
Beneficiaries must meet Alaska Legal Services Corporation’s eligibility requirements to receive assistance. Eligibility is generally based on income and case criteria. More information can be found here: https://www.alsc-law.org/eligibility/.
Hannah will be at Chief Andrew Isaac Health Center on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9:00am – 12:00pm, and from 1:00pm – 4:00pm.
