Tanana Chiefs Conference (TCC) TANF is pleased to announce an opportunity for qualified contractors, organizations, and community partners to submit proposals to provide Basketball Camps within the TCC service region.
Proposal Deadline: September 30, 2026
TCC TANF will approve funding for up to five (5) three-day basketball camps. Contractors selected to provide camps will be required to work closely with the TCC TANF Coordinator to obtain approval for camp locations. This process will help ensure services are distributed equally throughout the region and identify communities that would benefit from future programming.
Proposed camps should:
- Strengthen family relationships
- Build youth skills through positive recreation and leadership development
- Increase cultural knowledge and connection to community values
- Include one dedicated family engagement day
- Provide daily participant sign-in sheets
- Submit activity photos documenting camp activities
- Complete a final report that includes outcomes, participant feedback, and youth quotes
We encourage proposals that promote healthy lifestyles, family involvement, cultural learning, and positive youth development.Vendors will be selected based on the services they provide, vendor’s experience in the industry, and, consistent with applicable federal and state laws and funding requirements, preference shall be given to business that are Alaska Native-owned or American Indian-owned (please note that to qualify for preference the business must be at least 51% owned by one or more Alaska Native or American Indian individuals and TCC may request supporting materials to confirm eligibility). If selected, vendors must be ablet o provide a business license and insurance certificate to TCC.
