We’re excited to announce that applications are now open for the Summer Youth Employment Program, supporting teens and young adults across rural Alaska villages. This program gives youth ages 14–21 the chance to gain real‑world work experience, build confidence, and earn summer income — all while contributing to their home communities.

The Morris Thompson Cultural and Visitors Center is hiring for the summer and we are looking for Alaska Native youth to join our team.
We invite youth, between 14 and 21 and enrolled to a TCC region tribe, to apply for one of the following positions:
- 2 Tour Guides – If you enjoy talking with people, sharing stories, and representing your culture, this is a great fit.
- 1 Groundskeeper – Perfect for someone who likes working outdoors and helping keep our grounds looking beautiful (must be 18-21 years of age).
These are paid summer positions that offer real job experience, supportive mentors, and a chance to work in a place that celebrates Alaska Native culture every day.
