Tanana Chiefs Conference (TCC) is proud to congratulate four employees who have been selected to participate in the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium’s (ANTHC) leadership development programs for the coming year.
Selected for the Pathways to Leadership program are Courtney Tietz, TCC’s Clinical Informatics Analyst I in Information Technology (IT), and Mary Beth Cordova, TCC’s Digital Solutions Developer also in IT.
Selected for the LEAD program are Lawreen Buresch, Tribal Government Services Manager, and Elizabeth Shoemaker, Senior Administrative Support Manager for Clinical Services.
These highly competitive, nine-month programs are designed to strengthen leadership skills across the Alaska Tribal Health System while preparing participants to take on greater leadership responsibilities. Through mentorship, hands-on learning, strategic projects, and monthly leadership training, participants build expertise in communication, organizational leadership, problem-solving, and systems improvement while expanding their professional networks throughout Tribal healthcare.
The programs also emphasize Native leadership values, cultural knowledge, and a commitment to improving the health and well-being of Alaska Native communities.
Congratulations to Courtney, Mary Beth, Lawreen, and Elizabeth on this outstanding achievement. We look forward to seeing the knowledge, skills, and leadership they bring back to TCC as they continue advancing our vision of Healthy, Strong, Unified Tribes.
