  • Assessment of Woody Biomass Energy Resources (4.3MB) at Villages in the Upper Kobuk Region of Northwest Alaska: Kobuk, Shungnak, and Ambler. Developed under a contract with ANTHC. June, 2013.
  • Assessment of Woody Biomass Energy Resources for Rural Villages in Interior Alaska (2.1MB) – An assessment of the woody biomass resources at Koyukuk, Nulato, Kaltag, Anvik, Holy Cross, Hughes, Nikolai, and Ruby, developed under a grant to IRHA from the State of Alaska’s renewable energy fund administered by the Alaska Energy Authority.  October, 2012.
  • Fort Yukon (2.2MB) – Developed under contract with Alaska Village Initiatives (AVI), in cooperation with the Council of Athabascan Tribal Governments (CATG), in support of proposed biomass energy development in Fort Yukon.  October, 2010.  You can also view the associated geodatabase or a Fort Yukon land (13.2MB) ownership/biomass density map.
  • McGrath (8.4MB) – Funded by a grant from the State of Alaska Renewable Energy Fund to the McGrath Native Village Council (MNVC), administered by the Alaska Energy Authority (AEA), and developed under a contract between MNVC to TCC Forestry, in support of proposed biomass energy projects in McGrath, March, 2011.  You can also view the associated geodatabase.
  • Tanana (3.8MB) – Funded by the Alaska Energy Authority in a cooperative effort with the State of Alaska Division of Forestry, Northern Region.
