Grayling Community COVID-19 Action Plan

  1. a) All travel is suspended for the community of Grayling for 30 days. No inter-village travel.
    b) Travel is limited for cancer patients or with serious medical conditions only. Upon return to the village self-quarantine for a minimum of 30 days. This includes all household members-
    c) If you choose to leave the village, you will not allowed to return for minimum of 30 days and proof of screening for COVID19.
  2. Store Restrictions:
    a) 11:00-1:00pm Elders Only shopping age 55 and older
    b) 1:00-3:00pm open for adults 18 years of age and older. No children allowed.
    c) The Grayling Tribe authorized $250.00 dollars for even household in Grayling to buy household essentials the local Store. (This is unrestricted funding that the tribe has in place for emergency situations)
    d) limit the amount of shopping. Plan ahead. Get your weekly supply of food and other items. Limited to 10 shoppers at one time. We want to put our store employee’s at any further risk.
  3. Tribal Building Closed to the public
    a) Staff with here from 9-12 daily to make sure normal functions of the Tribe are in operation.
    b) Please the tribe to schedule any business that you may have and we will be able to assist you.
    c) All gaming closed.
    d) Elder lunches are suspended for the safety of EIders.
  4. No Alcohol will be allowed into the village to protect the health and safety of all people for 30 days.
    a) This will cut back on alcohol related accidents.
    b) Cut back on possible exposure of covid 19
  5. Clinic will be in Operation
    a) Must call in for all appointments
    b) No walk-ins

Grayling is looking after the well-being of our community. This is a community effort to help protect the safety our people.
