Expressing Appreciation: Honoring Two Departing Leaders

Last month, TCC said farewell to two members of our Executive Board of Directors as they move on to other leadership roles: Eugene Paul of Holy Cross and Alex Hanna of Minto.

Eugene Paul, representing the Lower Yukon subregion on the Executive Board, brought both humor and pointed advocacy to his many years of service. Eugene spent over a decade in his role representing the subregion and has been a dedicated leader during that time. Transitioning to the CEO position at the Interior Region Housing Authority (IRHA), Eugene’s leadership will undoubtedly inspire us as we journey forward together.

Alex Hanna, serving as the youth delegate to the Executive Board and Chair of the Emerging Leaders, demonstrated an unwavering dedication to amplifying the voices of youth throughout our region. During his time with the Executive Board, Alex continued to demonstrate strong leadership skills and was never afraid to step forward and help when needed. As Alex embarks on a new journey with Senator Click Bishop’s team, his commitment to Tribal leadership and politics promises to continue shaping our collective future.

Looking ahead, TCC anticipates continued collaboration with Alex and Eugene in their new roles. Their passion, wisdom, and unwavering commitment to our people will continue.

TCC would like to say Mahsi’ Choo to both Eugene and Alex for their years of commitment to serving the people of our region.
