TCC Health Services will be undergoing a re-accreditation survey by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) from April 20-22, 2026. AAAHC accreditation is a nationally recognized standard that helps ensure we continue to provide safe, high-quality, and patient-centered care.
Why This Is Important
Accreditation means our organization is regularly reviewed against national standards for safety, quality, and patient experience. It helps us identify opportunities to improve care, strengthen our processes, and ensure we are meeting the needs of the communities we serve.
During this time, you may notice surveyors visiting our clinics. Currently, TCC has 13 accredited village clinics, and on April 21, we will be specifically visiting the following clinics:
- Galena
- Tok/Northway
- Nenana/Minto
Surveyors will be observing processes and speaking with staff. In some cases, they may ask patients about their experience with care. Please note that public participation is completely voluntary, and your decision to participate or not will not affect the care you receive.
