Stay Strong and Healthy During These Long Winter Months

In February, it’s easy to feel the weight of the season. Staying active can make a meaningful difference—for both physical health and emotional well-being. That’s why TCC invites Tribal members to beat the winter blues by staying active at TCC’s Fitness Center.

Located in the basement of the Chief Peter John Tribal Building, the Fitness Center is a welcoming space designed to support overall wellness during the colder months, offering access to exercise equipment and a safe place to move, stretch, and recharge. Regular physical activity can help boost energy, improve mood, and reduce stress—especially during long Interior Alaska winters.

Whether you’re building a new routine or continuing an existing one, even small amounts of movement can have a big impact. TCC is here to support your wellness goals and encourage healthy habits all winter long.
