The Education Council is advisory to the TCC E-Board and meets quarterly with TCC staff to discuss issues of concern, and to also plan for an annual summit on Education. The council advocates on behalf of legislation that would be beneficial to rural school districts within their individual sub-regional areas, and to the region as a whole. They provide advice, technical support, and support to TCC staff on resolutions passed by the full Board of Directors during TCC’s annual convention. They also work towards developing partnerships between educational organizations within the Interior in their efforts to bridge the gap between secondary and postsecondary education.
Council members continue to advocate for quality education and training and high standards in all levels of education in the TCC Region.
