Denakkanaaga Cultural Camp: Elders Mentoring Elders

Denakkanaaga is holding a culture camp to have older Elders mentor and teach 30 younger elders (ages 50+) cultural practices and traditions. The camp will take place for three days, June 27-29. The camp will be held at Denakkanaaga in the Morris Thompson Cultural and Visitors Center and at Howard Luke’s Camp. Participants must be able to pay for their own transportation, hotel, and per diem if traveling into Fairbanks. Denakkanaaga will provide lunch each day for all participants. We are currently only accepting applicants from the Doyon region.
