Pediatrics
Our pediatrics team consists of a pediatrician and a pediatric nurse practitioner who provide care and consultation to patients from birth to the age of 21.
Well-child visits may be scheduled throughout the week by appointment with individual CAIHC providers.
For a healthy start in life, your baby needs regular check-ups and immunizations. It is important to offer these services, as well as counseling and support for parents.
Generally, children should have well child visits at the following ages:
- 1 week
- 6 weeks or 2 months
- at 4, 6, 9,12, 15, and 18 months
- 2 years
- 4 – 6 years
- 1 – 14 years
In order for your child to receive services with us, you must come with them. Children under 18 years of age must have a parent or legal guardian.
Some important things to remember:
- Only a parent or legal guardian can authorize medical or dental treatment. We cannot treat your child without your consent, except for suspected child abuse, without a CAIHC written consent form.
- When you cannot come to the clinic with your child, you must give an official written consent for your child to receive medical care.
