In July, Tanana Chiefs Conference (TCC) leadership traveled to Shageluk for the Lower Yukon Fall Subregional Meeting.
Over the course of the gathering, TCC staff presented updates on key topics identified by the subregion, including public safety, education, healthcare, hunting and fishing, energy, and subregional fund distributions. These discussions provided an opportunity for leaders and community members to exchange information, address challenges, and explore solutions that support the well-being of Tribal members.
We extend our sincere appreciation to the community of Shageluk for their warm hospitality and to the leadership of the Lower Yukon for inviting us to be part of these important conversations that strengthen collaboration across the region.
