Nulato Culture & Wellness Camp

This was a new camp was held at the Andrew K. Demoski School in Nulato. The cultural focus of the camp was Native language, song & dance, cultural & Elders stories, crafts & sewing, and making fish ice cream. Wellness activities include Athabascan values, making good choices, bullying, substance abuse, and peer pressure.

  • Participation: 85 people. The camp had participants ranging from 3 years old to Elders from Nulato, Kaltag, Koyukuk, Galena, Huslia and Fairbanks.
