Missing and Murdered Indigenous People Listening/Consultation Sessions

Tanana Chiefs Conference, Fairbanks Native Association, U.S. Attorney’s Office, and both the Statewide and TCC/FNA MMIP Working Group will host a MMIP Listening Session. The purpose of the consultations are to share information and hear comments from the Fairbanks community, and the villages in the TCC Region as it pertains to:
– MMIP History in the TCC Region, including Fairbanks
– Personal lived experiences .
– Proposed solutions/actions to address MMIP.
– MMIP response and investigation.
– Unmet needs of impacted families.
– Risk factors i.e., sex trafficking, homelessness, out migration from the village.

There will be one in-person session and two virtual sessions.
