WHEREAS, the Yukon-Koyukuk subregion wants to help the men who are willing to strengthen themselves mentally, spiritually and emotionally; and
WHEREAS, the Yukon-Koyukuk subregion recognizes the need for men to have a safe and familiar place to gather and compose solutions for healthy relationships and Koyukuk is willing to host such a gathering; and
WHEREAS, the Yukon-Koyukuk subregion support the efforts of the men who are willing to step forward to gather to develop solutions to strengthen healthy community relationships.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED the Yukon-Koyukuk subregion request the support of the Tanana Chiefs Conference leaders and staff to assist in planning and implementing a gathering for men; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED the TCC Full Board of Directors hereby directs staff to work with the tribal leadership to seek funds to implement the gatherings; and
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED the Yukon-Koyukuk subregion understands that the men who participate in the gathering will decide on what healthy activities that will fit the needs of their individual villages.
