Resolution 2017-02: Construction of an Elder Facility

WHEREAS, The elders in Chalkyitsik need a building of their own, with a kitchen and a meeting space; and 

WHEREAS, The Chalkyitsik Village Council has received and considered citizens’ comments on the proposed Elder Facility, which is essential to the health and safety of village residents. 

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Tanana Chiefs Conference Full Board of Directors hereby directs staff to assist the Chalkyitsik Village Council in seeking funding of $100,000 for construction of an Elder Facility.
