Fairbanks, Alaska— Tanana Chiefs Conference’ Prevention Program has partnered with Pike’s Landing to support them in becoming a smokefree restaurant. Starting October 10th, Pike’s will officially become a smokefree restaurant and will be offering free burnt cream or chocolate mousse with each meal purchase today.

“We are making a change at Pike’s Landing because our guests asked us to and we did!” said Jeffrey L. Brook, Executive Chef and Owner.

Smokefree policies have been shown to not only improve the health and productivity of employees, but also decrease business costs for insurance, cleaning and maintenance. Research shows that smokefree laws are routinely positive or neutral in their economic impact.
