Natural & Cultural Resources
Natural & Cultural Resources provides assistance to local
governments and individuals with regard to land and resources management.
- The Forestry Program conducts
inventories of forest resources and reforestation projects
on village lands.
- Realty Services provides information to, and assists owners
of Native Allotments and restricted town site lots with transactions
regarding the use of these lands. The program prepares wills
for clients with restricted property, prepares probates and
investigates trespass claims concerning restricted lands.
- The Wildlife and Parks Program
monitors international, statewide, regional and local activities
concerning subsistence use of fish and game resources in the
TCC region. Staff members provide information and technical
assistance to rural residents, fish and game advisory committees,
and government agencies to ensure habitat protection, and
advocates for fishing and hunting rights.
