Role of the TCC Legal Deparment
The Tanana Chiefs Legal Department is concerned with legal issues facing the Interior Athabascan people. We strive to provide services at the tribal level and support the development of tribal sovereignty and self-government. While it is our concern that tribal members receive necessary legal assistance, the staff at TCC cannot provide legal advice on any personal matters. If you have questions about personal legal matters we recommend calling the Alaska Legal Services Corporation at 1-800-770-9999. They can assist you in a wide variety of personal issues such as, divorce, child-support, wills, domestic violence, child abuse, work and employment issues, landlord-tenant issues, bankruptcy, taxes, and civil and criminal justice.
