The Holy Cross Youth Center was involved with several fundraising events to have the Next Generation Ruby Band fly in for the Youth Center Grand Opening.
Fred Walker was selected to play for the YOG basketball team representing Holy Cross. This team is comprised of outstanding basketball players enrolled in the YOG program from throughout Alaska.
Several youth will attend a cultural awareness leadership conference in Anchorage in April 2002.
Ivan Demientieff was selected to represent Holy Cross at the TCC Annual Convention in March 2002. He spoke in front of the convention audience about the importance of a subsistence lifestyle.
