Applicants Must:
1. Have an interest in a natural resource career, such as archaeology, wildlife, fisheries, land management practices, etc.;
2. Have a good work ethic and be willing to work cooperatively with other interns, staff and supervisors;
3. Be willing to work in an internship that involves outdoor projects in northern Alaska under a variety of challenging conditions and/or work in an office setting;
4. Be an Alaskan between the ages of 14-21; and
5. Complete the application and mail to TCC on or before April 20, 2007.
Transportation and
Logistics:
Earth Work Quest will arrange and pay for round-trip transportation between your residence and Fairbanks.
Housing is not always provided depending on individual internship and
location. PLEASE NOTE: If internship rules are not followed, you may be sent home at your own expense.
Student
Selection:
Students will be selected for interviews based on answers to application questions. After interviews are conducted, up to 15 students will be selected to participate in the program.
